Well, I have been on propecia for a couple of years and it is working very well. It is also no cause for concern for me because I am taking it for my own use. I have had some negative side effects from taking propecia, including hair loss, stomach upset, and hair loss. I have tried other options and am still in the process of getting hair back. I have also read in an online forum that propecia does not work as well as it should. If you want to see results, talk to your doctor.

Abstract

We have published a paper on the development and pharmacological properties of the newly developed drug finasteride. Finasteride is a compound that is widely used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men and women. This article describes the clinical pharmacology of finasteride and its application in the treatment of BPH. Finasteride is a potent inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), an intracellular enzyme that is responsible for the regulation of cyclic GMP (cGMP) in the smooth muscle of the prostate. The inhibitory action of finasteride on PDE5 is mediated by the inhibition of the degradation of cGMP. This inhibition is mediated by the inhibition of the cGMP-dependent enzyme, PDE6. The inhibition of PDE6 is an independent mechanism of action for the pharmacological action of finasteride. Finasteride is a potent inhibitor of the cGMP-mediated degradation of cGMP. The use of finasteride as an agent for the treatment of BPH in men and women has not been studied.
